Alumni Conference
We are slowly ramping up for our third ISG Alumni Conference which will take place from the 25th - 27th June 2012. The conference will mark a significant event - the 20th anniversary of the MSc in Information Security here at RHUL. We do hope that you will be able to join us for what has proved to be a successful, interesting, educating and exciting event.
Ticket price is £75 per person. This includes all lectures and presentations, refreshments, dinners and WIFI connectivity. The drinks reception will be covered by sponsorship. If you are interested in sponsoring this conference, please contact isg@rhul.ac.uk.
We are pleased to announce two keynote speakers for the conference, Professor David Naccache (Professor at Universite Paris II) and Dr Alastair MacWillson (Global Managing Director at Accenture Technology Consulting).
Professor David Naccache is a member of the ENS’s cryptography group and a professor at the University of Paris II. Before joining academia David managed Gemplus’ Applied Research & Security Centre (over 100 researchers). He holds 80 patent families, published more than 80 scientific papers and served in more than 60 programme committees, all in cryptography and security. He is a Forensic Scientist by the Court of Appeal Paris. His interests are embedded electronics, cryptography and security.
Dr Alistair MacWillson is the Global Managing Partner of Accenture’s Global Security Practice, which comprises of over 1400 security professionals, and works with business and government leaders around the world on critical issues relating to technology strategy and risk, operational performance and management, security and critical infrastructure protection. He also serves on the leadership council of Accenture’s Global Technology Consulting business and is the Chairman of the IISP (The Institute of Information Security Professionals). Dr MacWillson's talk will be entitled 'The Future of Security - responding to what is ahead'.

The programme is yet to be confirmed but the conference will be held between Monday 25th and Wednesday 27th June 2012, with dinners on the Monday and the Tuesday. Details of last year's agenda can be found here:
