Alumni Reunion Conference 2010

The Information Security Group (ISG) held their second Alumni Reunion Conference in the Windsor building on 5-7 July and attracted over 140 practicing professionals worldwide. The event showcased the ISG’s contribution to the Information Security profession and rekindled fond memories for both staff and alumni. 

The conference programme was delivered by ISG alumni plus two keynote lectures delivered by Professor Paul Dorey and Professor Dieter Gollmann, who are both visiting professors to the ISG. As well as being a reunion for the alumni the event was also a ‘welcome home’ for Professor Gollmann, who was a lecturer in the ISG when the programme was introduced in 1992.

Both of these Alumni conferences have attracted significant industrial support and interest.  This year’s event was sponsored by BT,  Check Point, KPMG, PGP, Thales, Tier-3, VISA, and Royal Holloway Enterprise Ltd.
