Programme Fees

When budgeting for your studies please note that:

• Fees are charged at different rates for citizens of the European Union, and overseas students (not citizens of the European Union).
• Full fees are due for the first three years of a fulltime PhD research programme. Students requiring a fourth (and final) year to write up their thesis pay a much reduced “writing up” fee.
• Part-time fees are half of fulltime fees. Students requiring a seventh (and final) year to write up their thesis pay a much reduced “writing up” fee.
• Students cannot submit their thesis before the end of the second year of fulltime study (fourth year of part-time study).

Current fees for postgraduate study at Royal Holloway. It is important to note that the fee for a PhD in the ISG is the 'standard' postgraduate fee (which is substantially less than the fee for the MSc in Information Security or for a PhD in Computer Science).
